Roaches are passive flying mobs.
Natural generation Edit
Roaches spawn on grass blocks at light levels of 9 or more with at least 2 block space above. They often spawn in groups of 4 during world generation.
Roaches are 0.3 blocks long and 0.1 blocks tall.
Roaches are very small mobs with long antennae and three pairs of legs. They have a pair of wings which are visible when the roach isn't flying. When roaches fly, you can see their membranous hind wings.
Roaches drop 1-3 experience when killed by a player or tamed wolf, otherwise, they drop nothing.
Roaches act like most other passive mobs; they wander and fly around aimlessly, usually avoiding falling off cliffs high enough to cause damage, and usually staying out of water. They also flee from the player when approached.
Although being rather small, roaches bear similar characteristics to most other insects, with a few traits such as being able to climb up solid blocks, (they use the same climbing animation as other insects and scorpions).
